Birth Doulas
What does birth doula care from us look like?

1. Prenatal Connections
We visit you and your family at home a few times during your pregnancy. We talk in depth and learn about you; your history, your pregnancy and your preferences. We begin work with you to create a plan for your labor and teach you powerful techniques to prepare for labor and birth. We guide you with practices that help towards a safe and natural birth. We follow up with check-ins, information and guidance throughout your pregnancy, gradually preparing body and mind for birth.
2. Continuous Birth Support
We come and stay with you during the birth process offering continuous guidance, comfort and encouragement. We use the tools and techniques we have prepared based on your preferences and our understanding to ease the process and protect your sacred space. We strive to make you feel safe and cared for however you happen to bring new life into this world.

3. Visits after birth
After birth whether you are home already or come home from hospital we drop by to visit. Our visits during the critical postpartum time are to check-in on your recovery and the newborn/s. These visits help to process and integrate your experience, to begin recovery and healing and to acknowledge and celebrate a momentous journey.
